Manchester Commuter Challenge

The Manchester Commuter Challenge is organised by the Greater Manchester Cycling Campaign.


The Manchester Commuter Challenge was between a cyclist, a train passenger, a bus rider and a motorist commuting from Heaton Chapel in Stockport to Manchester Town Hall in the morning rush hour.

The results were:

First:
Bicycle
20 minutes

Second:
Train
35 minutes

Third:
Car
43 minutes

Fourth:
Bus
52 Minutes
