Manchester Cycling New Website Launched

Manchester Cycling

Fallowfield Loop Sign

Today saw the launch of the newest cycling website Manchester Cycling which aims to be the number one cycling resource for the city of Manchester.

The internet is lacking a good site that brings together and promotes cycling in the great city of Manchester so this site aims to fill the gap and become the number one.  As a Manchester resident and a keen cyclists I am excited at the prospect of a site dedicated to the hundreds of cyclists that make Manchester what it is today.  A bustling city that is cycle friendly (in parts) and what we hope at Enjoy Cycling will become even more cycle friendly as years go by.

In Manchester cycling is a popular pastime and with the Olympics cycling popularity has increased even more.  My morning commute up Oxford Road is now busier than ever with cyclists displaying all manor of kit and equipment.

The city of Manchester has many great resources for the cyclist.  with miles of designated cycle lanes both on and off road  Manchester is turning in to one of the best cities for cycling in the UK!  We love cycling at Enjoy Cycling and we want top tell everyone about it!

The site in its current form is like a skeleton, bare bones waiting for useful rich content about the cycling community of Manchester.  If you know your Fallowfield Loop from your Trans Pennine Trail, you have experienced the  buzz of rush hour traffic through Rusholme on your bike or you just love getting out and about on your cycle in the city of Manchester why not tell us about it.

As the Manchester Cycling site gathers pace I hope that it will become more of a community of cyclists in Manchester.  If you wish to contact the Manchester Cycling team with your photos, links, stories and more please use our contact form.
