The Manchester to Liverpool Bike Ride 2012 wll be the 8th rime this iconic ride has taken place and after the success of the previous 7 years the 2012 event is sure to be special. The route starts at Salford Quays and heads West along the Trans Pennine Trail and finishes in Otterspool Park Liverpool.
The route of the Manchester to Liverpool Bike Ride 2012 follows mainly quiet country lanes and off road cycle trails making it a day out for all the family what ever the ability. I have taken part in the Manchester to Liverpool Bike Ride on a number of occasions and it is my favorite of the year, the route that joins these two great Northern cities follows the Manchester Ship Canal and there are lots of reminders of a past industrial age along the route.
The Manchester to Liverpool Bike Ride 2012 follows signposted route with plenty of refreshment stops along the way so you will never be far from a place to recharge your batteries and give your legs a rest.
