The Woolton Cycle Route provides a direct and convenient route from Woolton to Liverpool city centre. The route takes advantage of pleasant parks and traffic calmed streets on over 4 miles of cycle lanes.  The Woolton Cycle Route is another exciting route for cycling in Liverpool.

Cycling in Liverpool has never been easier with flat terrain and low levels of car ownership, Liverpool is ideal for cycling.  Cycling in Liverpool is a quick, healthy and a green form of transport making Liverpool a nicer and safer place to live.

There are many routes for cycling in Liverpool with routes that go through beautiful Victorian Parks, the spectacular historic waterfront and also link to the National Cycle Network for routes to North Wales and the Trans Pennine Trail to Hull and beyond! Cycling in Liverpool is easy if you are a student as Liverpool has a university route that links the city centre to the student halls and our most successful route yet - the Woolton Cycle Route.

The City Council works hard to promote cycling in Liverpool and make cycle routes better all over the City.  In recent years the city council has doubled the number of cycle routes in Liverpool and has added cycle parking to popular locations.

The best way to obtain a cheap mountain bike is to shop around!

Each autumn mountain bike manufactures release the next year’s models, for example the 2009 Specialized Rockhopper replaces the 2008 Specialized Rockhopper.  This does not mean that all the 2008 models have gone, just that it has been replaced by a newer model with a very similar spec.  This means that there are bargains to be had, models from the previous years range are reduced and there are massive savings to be had, resulting in a cheap maintain bike.  So shop around and I promise a cheap mountain bike will come your way!
